On 6 April 2004 it was exactly thirty years ago when ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest. And it also was the day when the Mamma Mia! musical had it's fifth anniversary.
I was in London when three of the four members of ABBA appeared on stage at the Prince Edward theatre in London. I had bought tickets for the performance and managed to stand at the beginning of the red carpet where Björn, Benny and Frida arrived. Björn and in particular Benny quickly passed by, but Frida was the absolute goddess of that evening.
When Frida arrived she was reluctant to sign any autograph at all. In fact she ignored the first requests and said that she could not do it, but but only ten or twenty seconds later she must have thought: "Oh what the hell". From then on she autographed hundreds of records and pictures, including my Waterloo digipack. She truly seemed to enjoy her self and talked to so many fans.
Best of all: she took all the time of the world and made this an ABBA encounter I will never ever forget. It was a sensational day and night.

More Frida. She is accompanied by Dan Daniell and Heinz Julen. The picture is not crystal clear, but worth seeing.
